Valor Health to Host Prostate Cancer Awareness Motorcycle Rally Stop

Written by  Valor Health
Valor Health will welcome 300 motorcyclists on Sept. 19 as part of a route stop in Emmett for the third annual Blue Ribbon Motorcycle Rally, a ride promoting prostate cancer awareness month and benefitting two cancer-related Idaho charities: Idaho 2 Fly and the Nalen Fund.

The rally, which begins in Meridian and ends in Crouch, is scheduled to arrive in Valor Health’s main parking lot between 11:15 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. The community is invited to enjoy free refreshments and cheer the riders as they depart for Crouch.

The event, which is sponsored by the Idaho Urologic Institute, Iron Cross Warriors and Iron Cross Babes aims to draw attention to prostate cancer being the second most common cancer in American men behind lung cancer, according to the American Cancer Society. The organization reports about 1 man in 7 will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime.*

Hosting the rally’s route stop demonstrates Valor Health’s commitment to health awareness and making the Emmett community healthier and stronger. Valor Health recommends men and women speak to their health care provider about preventative health screenings.

Local motorcyclists are invited to participate in the rally. Visit www.idurology.com/BRR to learn more.
