Dr. Darren Pittard provides gynecologic care to women in all stages of life. Born in Mountain Home, Idaho, where his father was stationed as an Air Force fighter pilot, he followed in his father’s footsteps and joined the Air Force after attending the Medical College of Georgia. While assigned to Keesler Air Force Base in Biloxi, MS, for his OB/GYN residency, he was practicing when Hurricane Katrina hit land and shut down the hospital. He finished his residency in San Antonio, TX, before being moved to Mountain Home Air Force Base for the rest of his military career.

In 2013, Dr. Pittard retired from the military to join OGA and continue his work of providing excellent healthcare to women. He is currently the Medical Director of OGA and provides outreach services at Valor Health Specialty Medicine and Surgical Clinic. He sees patients for a variety of gynecological issues, ranging from annual exams to more complex problems. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, running and spending time with his family, including taking memorable vacations in nearby McCall.
