Valor Health introduces Interim CEO The Valor Health Board of Directors would like to announce the selection of Brad Turpen, FACHE, FACMPE as Interim CEO of Valor Health. Brad has served as Chief Operating Officer of Physician Services at Valor Health since June 2015. His healthcare career has spanned private medical groups, hospital owned medical groups, and hospital administration. Brad grew up in the Treasure Valley and earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the Air Force Academy, after which he served active duty for six years. He earned a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Utah State University and has been working in Healthcare Administration for the past 15 years. Brad is currently the Board President of the Idaho Healthcare Executive Forum, our state ACHE chapter, after serving multiple years as the Education Chair. Brad is also an Idaho MGMA Past President, having volunteered on the IMGMA Board from 2006-2012. He also served as a Commissioner for Boise City Parks and Recreation from 2011-2015. Brad loves raising his three very active daughters with his wife, Tara. When they are not coaching youth sports, you can find them enjoying Idaho’s beautiful outdoors, especially biking, fishing, and skiing. Brad Turpen is known for delivering outstanding patient experiences with a culture of positive professionalism and trust. He will be assuming the interim position beginning July 3, 2017. Current Valor Health CEO, Wade Johnson, FACHE will be joining St Peters Hospital, in Helena, Montana July 31, 2017.
