Valor Health has successfully completed their 2018 annual DNV-GL accreditation survey. Each year, Valor Health welcomes DNV-GL to conduct an accreditation survey to ensure that the organization is meeting national healthcare regulations in quality and patient safety. DNV-GL is recognized as a healthcare accreditation body by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is a leading partner in ensuring that organizations are providing safe and patient-centered care.
In addition to the annual review process, Valor Health underwent a special survey focus this year to determine ISO Compliance. Sarah Phipps, RN, Manager of Quality Performance and Improvement shared, “ISO Compliance signifies that Valor Health demonstrates consistent commitment to continuous quality improvement, patient safety, and excellence in the customer experience”. Michael Jeppson, Risk and Compliance Coordinator, has continued to cultivate a strong partnership between Valor Health and DNV and helps ensure that Valor Health continues to stay updated with new and revised healthcare regulations. Adoption of this quality and performance improvement model has provided Valor Health with the framework to continue to meet the needs of the community served.
