Valor Health has successfully completed its 2018 annual DNV-GL accreditation survey. Each year, Valor Health welcomes DNV-GL to conduct an accreditation survey to ensure that the organization is meeting national healthcare regulations in quality and patient safety. DNV-GL is recognized as a healthcare accreditation body by the U.S. Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and is a leading partner in ensuring that organizations are providing safe and patient-centered care.
In addition to the annual review process, Valor Health conducted a special survey to determine ISO compliance this year. Sarah Phipps, RN, Manager of Quality Performance and Improvement, shared, “ISO Compliance signifies that Valor Health demonstrates consistent commitment to continuous quality improvement, patient safety, and excellence in the customer experience”. Michael Jeppson, Risk and Compliance Coordinator, has continued cultivating a strong partnership between Valor Health and DNV and helps ensure that Valor Health stays updated with new and revised healthcare regulations. Adopting this quality and performance improvement model has provided Valor Health with the framework to continue to meet the needs of the community served.
