New Community Provider Increases Access to Wound Care in Gem County

Valor Health Welcomes Advanced Skin and Wound Care Specialist Tyler Jue to the Specialty Medicine and Surgical Clinic

January 12, 2026 – (Emmett, Idaho)

Valor Health is advancing its efforts to expand access to quality healthcare for Gem County residents with the addition of Advanced Skin and Wound Care Specialist Tyler Jue, MSN, ACNP-BC, CWCN-AP, CWS. Jue serves patients at the Valor Health Specialty Medicine and Surgical Clinic (SMSC).
A wound that is not treated properly can take twice as long to heal, with the potential to become chronic and more painful. Valor Health’s SMSC, located at 1024 E. Locust Street, offers accessible and personalized treatment options for complex, chronic and non-healing wounds, including but not limited to:

  • Acute and chronic wounds
  • Wounds that are not improving with time
  • Diabetic ulcers and related wounds
  • Dehisced surgical wounds and other related complications
  • Wounds affecting tendons, ligaments, bones or joints
  • Wounds causing significant or unusual pain
  • Burn care
  • Edema management
  • Ostomy care

As the newest provider at the SMSC, Jue is a board-certified acute care nurse practitioner, certified wound care nurse, and certified wound specialist. He has over a decade of experience in advanced skin and wound care and holds two national wound certifications from the American Board of Wound Management and the Wound, Ostomy and Continence Nurses Society. He takes pride in offering advanced wound care, educating patients to help them heal and prevent recurring wounds.
