Family Medicine

Many of our family physicians have proudly called Emmett home for the majority of their careers, while several experienced local physicians have recently joined our staff. All are drawn by the opportunity to serve you and your family across the full spectrum of care.

Dr. Brett Mumford

Dr. Mumford grew up in Pullman, WA and spent much of my life fishing and backpacking in Idaho, a state that he loves. He always wanted to be a vet, but later in life was involved in a car accident where a passing doctor saved his life, which influenced him to become a physician. I attended Washington State University, and went to medical school in CA. Mumford chose residency in Pocatello, because of its excellent training for rural, small town doctors. He loves family medicine because he really enjoys working with the public to provide basic medical services.
