Ortho | Sports MedicineDr. Ruiz is licensed as an Osteopathic Physician and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She holds a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine in Meridian, ID, and a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology-Chemistry from Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego, CA. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Idaho Academy of Family Physicians, and the Christian Medical and Dental Association. During her residency at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, she was a member of the Pharmaceutical and Therapeutics Committee and the Family Medicine Resident Wellness Committee.
Dr. Ruiz’s goal is to provide her patients with comprehensive care at every stage of life. She believes in a holistic approach to healthcare, integrating all aspects of life to promote longevity and help patients achieve their personal health goals.
When not seeing patients at Valor Health Family Medicine, Dr. Ruiz enjoys gardening, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
