Valor Health Achieves Level IV Trauma Center Designation- When Every Second Matters
Emmett, Idaho- Valor Health is proud to announce it has been designated as a Level IV Trauma Center by the Idaho Time Sensitive Emergency System, marking a significant milestone in expanding access to high-quality emergency care for residents of Gem County and surrounding communities.
This designation recognizes Valor Health’s ability to provide timely evaluation, stabilization, and coordination of care for patients experiencing traumatic injuries. As part of the Idaho TSE, a statewide network focused on improving outcomes for time-sensitive conditions such as trauma, stroke, and heart attack, Valor Health plays a critical role in ensuring patients receive the right care at the right place, at the right time.

As a Level IV Trauma Center, Valor Health’s emergency department is equipped to provide Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and immediate care for a wide range of injuries. Highly trained physicians, nurses, and clinical staff are available 24/7 to assess and stabilize patients, initiate critical interventions, and coordinate seamless transfers to higher-level trauma centers when specialized care is needed.
