Her background spans emergency medicine, urgent care, infusion therapy, intensive care, and now, primary care—where she continues her commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Melisa’s interest in science and medicine began early in life, but it was her experience as a parent of a child with autism that gave her a unique perspective of and passion for medicine. Navigating that journey as both a caregiver and advocate deepened her empathy, strengthened her resilience, and reinforced her belief in the importance of truly listening to patients and their loved ones.
Melisa believes that every patient deserves to feel seen, heard, and respected. Melisa does not believe healthcare is one-size-fits-all, but rather that your healthcare should be personalized and based on mutual trust with your provider.
Outside of patient care, Melisa enjoys spending time with her family, her energetic husky and traveling.
