Robin Humphries- Patient Access Specialists (Non- Clinical)

– Joined Valor Health in 2015

Robin is an unsung hero… She’s efficient at her job and always does so with a friendly demeanor. She’s a hard worker… and I feel confident in her ability to be the “face of Valor”… she is always professional with guests… My hat is off to Robin for owning her role and setting the tone of courtesy, respect, and dignity with patients who come in our front doors.

She is outstanding at what she does. She juggles multiple priorities in a workday every day, and she doesn’t let that stop her from treating our patients and colleagues with the utmost kindness and respect. She’s constantly finding ways to help everyone and jumps in first when needed and never asks for anything in return… You are so appreciated!

Robin’s dedication to VH and our patients is easily seen! She provides great customer service to every person she interacts with. I know when Robin is working that I can expect a warm smile and friendly hello. She is kind and calm- making it easy for patients with different backgrounds and needs to feel safe, heard, and cared for… She’s reliable, kind and caring, and a great example of what Valor Employee should be!

Robert Thomas- Lab Assistant Manager (Clinical)

– Joined Valor Health in 2023

Robert consistently demonstrates a deep commitment to patient care and quality of service, going beyond simply solving lab problems to creating meaningful, positive experiences with coworkers and patients. Robert’s approach is rooted in compassion and empathy, active listening and a proactive mindset to anticipate and exceed patient care. He strives to build trust through clear communication, prompt resolution of issues and personalized care. Robert symbolizes a shared belief in maintaining these standards and continuously improving to meet evolving situations… He has made the lab more efficient and cohesive through consistent support and team-first mindset… Robert is a fabulous most excellent team player as is demonstrated by his shifting schedule almost on a weekly basis. He covers folks who call in sick and he covers shifts when we are short-staffed… Robert is a gem. He is the glue of the lab (one of many)… He is the best of the best.

Zachary Bastian, MD- General Surgeon (Provider)

– Joined Valor Health in 2015

Dr. Bastian is truly one of a kind! He is kind and humble, very personable, and one of the easiest docs to work with. Patients LOVE him. Teammates LOVE him… I’ve yet to need surgery from him, but I would trust him fully to do so, knowing that I would receive excellent care and service (from the entire team). He also goes above and beyond to engage and be part of our community (attending events like Youth Appreciation Day and Cherry Festival)… I appreciate him being part of the Valor Health team and am proud that he is one of our doctors!

A special thank you to the Valor Health Patient and Family Advisory Council (PFAC) for participating in the selection process.
